NEED A RIDE?

DRIVER’S SEAT: Obsessive Compulsive Disaster

is the "shockingly funny, refreshingly honest"  solo show written and performed by Ellie Brelis, where the craziest shit happens to the funniest bitch in the psych ward.

Buckle up for a twisted ride through OCD, an epic break up, a major break down, coming out, and - just possibly - learning how to drive. Ellie may be scared of crashing a car, but she has no fear of crashing out.

Written in 2020 during a mental health crisis, hospitalization, and six months of intensive treatment, Ellie brings her story to the stage.

Please note that his play discusses mental illness, suicidal ideation, and substance use. It may not be suitable for all viewers.

"This excellent show, written with a brave heart and an astute mind is just the beginning, and I can’t wait to see what she does next! Whatever is going on in that complex and fascinating mind of hers, I can tell you that on stage she has the kind of talent that’s seldom seen. She has that special something, that indefinable quality that has you hanging on her every syllable, watching her every move and wanting more"
